Getting up and running

Ok, this is the actual first post and the question is….

Does it live?

Yeppers, it does.

First problem was ‘Preview changes’ gave me an error message that ‘you do not have permission to preview drafts’. Um ooooooooookay then… Found out that it was simply my changing the admin login from default and not having my cookies updated.

Simply logging out once and logging back in fixed this.

So I am now officially Admin of my own blog!

I might as well add a ‘before’ picture, since this puppy will be changing big time from here on out.

{note to self: add some smileys!}

Update: We now have smileys!

    Okay here is a question.
    My avatar is was selected by default I guess.
    Is there not a profile for me to edit?

    If there is I can’t find it.

    :D no problems. The “{note to self: add some smileys!}” text in the coloured box is that a plugin to do that our you just have custom css

    it’s both.. i commented on it in the other article, where i intend to make a plugin of my own to do that in ‘ubbcode’ :p
